Whilst our race will be held in January 2022, competitors will be able to follow updates and progress on the tree planting project during the journey. The tree planting will be held in approximately June 2022 and entrants will be invited to attend the tree planting if they wish.
Get on board and we will provide more detail as time progresses!
The event is a handicapped running race over an approximate 10km distance where runners are allocated their start time by the Appointed Handicapper. The race allows competitors of all running abilities to have the chance to win the race that has a substantial financial reward and should encourage a good spread of competitors from around WA.
The race will see competitors attempt to catch each other within the closing stages of the race making this exciting for spectators and competitors and providing something different from the standard running race over a 10km journey. The race will finish outside of Taffy’s on the Waterfront in Bunbury.
The race will be timed and results posted online.
