No, any individual 14 years of age or over at the date of the event can enter the Dash for Cash.
An Appointed Handicapper will study the field and previous performances to determine your start time. If no records of your times can be proven it is likely you will begin at the rear of the field.
You will find out your start time when you ‘check in’ at the Registration Desk on race day.

This is to provide the handicapper enough time to ensure start times for runners have been reviewed and checked.
Yes there will be a drink station at the 5km mark of the race. The finish line will also be close to markets and cafes and within walking distance to the CBD. Gels and food will NOT be provided on the run.
Yes BlueChip Timing will time the race and results will be available on the website. Your race bib will have the timing chip included so remember to wear your number!
With the exception of approximately 700m the course is on a designated path that is also opened to the public. There is a 600m grass section at the road crossing on Koombana Drive and the last 100m of the race is also on grass. The course is all FLAT and predominantly follows the river, estuary and inlet!
No there is no cut off time for this event. Volunteers will be throughout the course until all competitors have completed the run
Parking, PA system, toilets and a coffee van will be available at the start line. At the completion of the race there will be toilets (includes a shower), PA system, local markets next to the finish line, parking and cafes and hotels are all located within a few hundred meters of the finish area.
Yes a First Aid team will be available at the event.
You can collect this on the morning of the race or the evening before. Details of the pick up the night before will provided closer to the race.
Registrations will close the Monday night prior to the race or when the field reaches its capacity of 250.
No! We don’t want runners being impacted by anything that could disrupt their run or compromise their safety.
In our efforts to keep entry fees at a minimum for participants, finishers will not receive any gifts in 2020. There will be plenty of small giveaways at the completion of the race as well as the significant prize money.
Presentations will be on the grassed area at Queens Gardens close to the finish line immediately after the race. The Bunbury Saturday markets will also be available throughout the morning.
